This space is simultaneously formal and informal, and is aimed at breaking interdisciplinary barriers and promoting holism. We believe too many people and conversations are fragmented by artificial borders in the name of convention and that there is a lot to learn from the human experience.

Welcome everyone from self described nerds/hobbyists/amateurs/professionals (whether that be botanists, guerilla garderners or homesteaders, musicians or music enjoyers, astrophysicists or astronomers, handy men or construction workers, biologists, naturalists or hikers, photographers of all types, anarchists to communists, simple livers and DIYers, mycologists to psychedelic takers, computer lovers, people with regular jobs and those with other passions), to those who simply want to chill, everyone is welcome and is considered a unique, valuable library of experience.

Who you are, what your moderation status is and what you have achieved does not inherently make you superior to others in a general sense, as we are all mere Homo sapiens.

We value community feedback, in fact decisions affecting this room/community will be made based on it (e.g., anyone can start a poll or dicussion), as well as transparent rationale. Moreover, people are free to branch the room in the case that admins have become unjust.

Anyone who wants to contribute to our vision, technologically, is free to self host this room by simply joining it with their own homeserver. Requests to add https://matrix.org/ecosystem/integrations/ are more than welcome and can be implemented by trusted members of the community. What makes such people?

So long as we trust you, which is achieved by demonstrating a considerate nature through time, anyone is qualified to become a moderator. Whereas requests for admin necessitate needs and justifications corresponding to the power levels being granted. In other words, being an admin is not a privilege, instead it signifies a volunteer.
